Apple and blueberry crumble cake

Description

A quick and simple dessert that will impress guests without having to break your back in the kitchen.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2cups of goldband Margarine 
  • 2 tablespoons of Mariandazi baking powder 
  • 1 cup of Sugar 
  • 2 cups of All purpose flour 
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 2 eggs 
  • 2 chopped Apples 
  • 1/2 cup of Blueberries 
  • 1 lime 
  • 1 1/2 cup of Whole oats

Directions

Cream the margarine and 3/4 cup of sugar until well combined. Add in the egg and milk and mix together.
Combine all the dry ingredients i.e baking powder, flour and 1 cup of oats. Combine the wet and dry ingredients into a thick rough dough. Chop the apples and blueberries into halves and sprinkle fresh lime juice.
Add half of the fruits into the batter. Grease a baking pan generously and add the batter in. To the remaining oats, add 1/4 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of cinnamon. Spread the remaining fruits and oats on top before baking.
Bake at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes until browned on top and nice and firm inside. Serve with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!
