Banana Fritters with Vanilla Ice Cream

Description

Fritters with bananas! Oh, my goodness! These are incredible. The finest way to eat them is warm, right after they’ve been fried and tossed in sugar. The batter is light and crisp, and the banana is warm and soft, making this an excellent quick and easy dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup sugar 
  • 3 ripe bananas 
  • 1/3 cup Golden Fry
  • Vanilla Ice cream

Directions

In a medium bowl mash bananas with a fork until chunky, add the sugar, and combine until the sugar has dissolved.
In a separate bowl add flour and salt. Pour in the banana mixture and stir well until all the flour is worked in. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
When the oil is hot, scoop in the banana fritter batter by the spoonful. Fry on both sides for 3-5 minutes until brown.
After frying drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve warm with ice cream and chocolate syrup. Enjoy!
When frying the banana fritter batter, you can use the two-spoon method. One spoon to scoop the batter and the other to scrape the excess off.
