Start by boiling the green bananas for 10 min. This is a tip to keep your hands and knives from turning black when cutting green bananas. Once they have boiled, drain out the water and set aside to cool. Peel and cut into halves once they are easy to hold.
In a pot, heat oil and put onions and ginger to cook. Add spices and blended tomatoes. Add sweet potato and potato cubes and water to cover and cook for 10 minutes. Add in paste, bananas, garlic and coconut cream and cover to cook for another 7-10 min.
