Halloumi Infused with Herbed Garlic Olive Oil

Description

Simply divine, salty halloumi with herbed garlic olive oil is as easy as it gets.  You can serve it with Sunday brunch or on its own with warm crusty bread.

Ingredients

Halloumi I’m
  • 200g Halloumi 
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Gold
Garlic Oil
  • 1 whole garlic bulb peeled & smashed
  • Freshly ground salt & black pepper
  • 1 cup Olive Gold
  • 2 sprigs fresh Rosemary
To serve
  • Drizzle of Garlic Oil
  • Basil 
  • Freshly ground salt & black pepper

Directions

Combine all the ingredients for the garlic oil and set aside.
Heat oil in a non-stick skillet on medium heat and slice halloumi into pieces. Pan fry halloumi on both sides for 3 – 4 minutes until nicely toasted.
To serve, drizzle warm halloumi with garlic oil, garnish with basil, freshly ground black pepper, and salt.
