For the Sauce
  • 150g butter
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 5 green chillies, slit in the middle
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 5 sprigs, spring onion, chopped
  • 1 pc ginger, julienned
  • ½ bunch coriander, chopped
  • 3 tbsp tamarind sauce
  • 100ml Tangawizi Planet Soda

For the Garnish
  • ½ ginger, julienned
  • ½ bunch coriander, chopped

Directions

Coat the wings with the flour mixture and deep fry. Fry until golden brown for about 10 minutes.
In a pan, combine all the ingredients for the sauce except for the tamarind paste and tangawizi soda.
Mix until well combined and fragrant for about 3 minutes, then add the tamarind paste and tangawizi club soda, let the sauce reduce until it is nice and sticky. Toss crispy wings with the sauce, garnish with some more julienned ginger and coriander and serve.
