Breakfast Scotch Eggs

Description

A classic twist to the usual breakfast. These delicious Breakfast Scotch eggs are

set to be the show stopper at your next brunch potluck or brunch party.

Ingredients

  • Boiled eggs (6)
  • Sausages (12)
  • 1/2 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1Tsp Oregano
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2tsp Paprika
  • Golden Fry for Frying

Directions

Boil the eggs for 8 minutes. Peel over running water. Cube the sausages. (use 2 sausages for each egg)
Place the two cubed sausages clingfilm and flatten with wet hands. Dust an egg in All Purpose Flour and place it at the center of the flattened sausage. Roll it up with the cling film ensuring the boiled egg is well encased.
Dust the encased egg with flour. Dip in beaten eggs. Season the breadcrumbs with all the spices and coat the encased egg with breadcrumbs. Deep fry until golden brown
Serve and Enjoy.
