  • Instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 cups of Milk
  • 1/4 cup of Hot Water
  • 10 grams of yeast

Directions

Stir together yeast and warm water in a small bowl until yeast is dissolved. Let stand until foamy, about 5 minutes. Dissolve the instant coffee in the warm water. Mix together flour, 1/2 cup of warm milk, 2 tablespoons of margarine, 3 tablespoons of sugar, salt, cinnamon, instant coffee and yeast mixture in a bowl.
Combine until you get a rough dough. Knead for about 10 minutes. Apply margarine to the bowl and add in the kneaded dough. Cover bowl with a clean kitchen towel or cling film and let dough rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll out with a lightly floured rolling pin Cut out the dough using a cutter or glass top. Cover doughnuts with a clean kitchen towel and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Deep Fry doughnuts in hot oil until puffed and golden brown.
Allow to cool before stuffing the donuts with caramel. Make the caramel by: -Place the sugar in a heavy bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Move the pan around every few minutes to keep the sugar heating evenly, but do NOT stir constantly. -After about 15 minutes, the sugar will melt completely.
Take off the heat and add the margarine. Whisk and combine completely. Add in 1 cup of milk and a pinch of salt. Combine completely and allow to cool. Make a hole in the donuts and use a bag to stuff in the caramel into the donuts. Enjoy!
