Description

Ingredients

  • 2cups dried Omena
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, blended
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tbsp Elianto fry oil
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Directions

Wash Omena 3times to remove any dirt In a large sufuria, boil water then add the omena and garlic. Boil for 30mins. Once done, drain and set aside
In a pan add oil, then add onion and garlic, saute for 2min Next add the blended tomatoes and tomato paste, cook for 4-5mins until thick sauce then add the cream
Add omena and season with garam masala and salt. Let cook for 5mins Garnish with the fresh corriander leaves then serve
